SOS (Signs of Suicide): Training Trusted Adults

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among people aged 11-18 (CDC, 2015)

Would you like to know how to detect the warning signs of suicidal behavior? Do you know what to do if you suspect someone may be suffering from depression and suicidal thought?

To learn more, please join us for an important seminar, hosted by CMHS Counselor Ms. Kesha Simmons, to learn how to recognize and act on the warning signs and symptoms of adolescent depression and suicide. You will also learn how Magnet High responds when students are struggling or in crisis. This seminar is part of a community-wide effort to protect our students who may be suffering or in danger.
